Pepe Rodriguez – WBC

Edgar Sosa started with the right foot in 2012. The ‘Little Giant’ is back after defeating Filipino fighter Roilo Golez by TKO in round 7 at the Polanco Forum, Mexico City. The next match for Sosa could be against Wilbert Uicab on March 31 in a elimination bout for the WBC flyweight championship. In the co-main event, Ramon “Niño de Oro” (Golden Boy) Ayala, beat Carlos Velazquez from Nicaragua by split decision after a ten round lightweight bash. The fight was tougher than expected for the Mexican fighter, who used his experience to win the fight.
