Undefeated British welterweight sensation ‘Special’ Kell Brook (25-0-0, 17ko) is gunning for Luiz Galarza‘s blood on Saturday, December 17 in the Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, as he aims to look sensational in his American debut in order to maintain his determined pursuit of the welterweight world championship titles – Floyd Mayweather (WBC); Manny Pacquiao (WBO); Viacheslav Senchenko (WBA); vacant (IBF).

Brook wants to not only defeat Galarza, but look good doing so

“I want to look sensational,” Brook confirmed to The Ring recently. “I want to knock someone out,” he said.

The ability to stop a fighter due to the way he methodically breaks down his opponent in an unrelenting manner that includes precise punching, accurate combination work, astute defensive skills and elite-level timing has transcended the divisions of talent as, in his last three fights when he is beginning to mix it more often with European and world-level fighters, he has a teekayo rate of 66 percent.

Brook, who became the first fighter to knockout steely-chinned Polish pugilist Rafal Jackiewicz in his last outing, continued: “I want to go out there and show the American public what I’m all about. I’m coming over here to make my American debut, and I’m looking to shine.”

Brook, a part of the same promotional stable of Carl Froch – Matchroom Sports, provides undercard support to Froch’s legacy-defining fight against Andre Ward in the Super Six World Boxing Classic final yet, despite the significance of the main event, Kell declared his intention to “steal the show”.

He closed by remarking on his world title aspirations for 2012: “I think that we’re going to have a big possibility of fighting in a big fight early next year. I think that we will definitely be fighting for a world title in 2012. I will leave that to my team to make the big fights. When they put the fighters up, I’ll just knock them down. Whatever opponents available, I’ll just get in there with anyone.”
