Prince Arron pulled out of a European clash to concentrate on winning the British title outright. Arron said: “I would love to fight for the European title, but it has always been my ambition to win the Lonsdale Belt outright. I want to achieve this by mid-2012 and then go on to win European and world honors.

“I know Rose quite well as we have sparred against each other in the past and I know he is coming to try and take away my belt, but there is know way I am giving up my title.”

Chief support on the night sees a British Title eliminator between undefeated Karl Place and Liverpudlian Steve Williams.

Williams has only lost in a title challenge to Lenny Daws back in July 2010 whilst Karl Place was named one to watch by Sky Sports and has a record of 15 fights 15 wins with 8 by knockout.

The winner of the bout will be at ringside on december 10th to watch the Ashley Theophane versus Nigel Wright war.

Promoter Frank Maloney said: “Karl will have to be at his best to keep his undefeated record intact against Williams this weekend.”

The show will be Live on Sky Sports this Saturday December 3 at the Robin Park Arena, Wigan and tickets are still available to buy on the night.
