The Prizefighter trophy and £32,000 winner’s cheque may have been awarded to the experienced Mongol Warrior – Choi Tseveenpurev – but a potential star was born in George Jupp, who trains out of the TRAD TKO Gym in Canning Town, east London, as the youngster pushed Choi in the competition’s semifinal stage. The event, staged at York Hall in Bethnal Green on Saturday, October 29, also showcased prospect Andreas Evangelou in a light heavyweight bout.
